We welcome all denominations, as long as you believe in the essential doctrines of the Christian faith as outlined by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8.
We believe that the Scriptures, containing the Old and New Testaments in their original texts, are inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the final authority for the Church. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 3:16). We believe that there is only one God, and who is almighty, omniscient, omnipresent, and the Creator sovereign over of all that exists. God eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, has two natures: a divine nature and a human nature. His divine nature is the same essence as the Father and the Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus' virgin birth, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, and His present mediating work in heaven. (Deuteronomy 6:4, John 8:58, with Exodus 3:14; Colossians 2:9, Philippians 2:5-11, Luke 1:26-36, Hebrews 4:15, Romans 5:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:20, Acts 1:9-11) We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, meaning the Holy Spirit is of the same essence as the Father and the Son. We believe He gives life, sanctifies, empowers and comforts all believers. The Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers in Jerusalem and is poured out on believers today for the purpose of fulfilling God's command to preach the gospel to the entire world. It is only by the Holy Spirit that we are able to live godly lives in Christ Jesus and minister to the unsaved. (Acts 5:3-4, John 16:13-14, Acts 1:8) We believe that humankind was originally created sinless. But, tempted by Satan, Adam fell and thereby brought the whole race under the condemnation of eternal separation from God. (Genesis 1:27-31, Genesis 3:6-21, Romans 5:12) We believe that man is saved by grace through repentance and faith in the work of Christ; this means when a person turns from his or her sins and trusts Christ's death and resurrection to pay for them, that person is given eternal life. Only those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Acts 20:31, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Romans 5:15-19, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 8:9 and 14-17, Galatians 4:7) We believe that the Church is composed of all true believers forming the body of Christ with Christ being the head. The present work of the Church is the worship of God, the perfecting of the saints and the evangelizing of the world. Finishing the Great commission, the command to preach the gospel to everyone in the world, is an obligation for all believers. (1 Timothy 1:5, Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:24, Psalm 149:1, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 and 14:13, Ephesians 5:24, Matthew 28:19) We are not denominational, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We believe Christ's Agape love is the basis for true fellowship, which is greater than any non-essential doctrinal differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
